BULAWAYO, ZIMBABWE - May 8, 2026-- Renowned Afro-fusion duo Stango & Nongoma are set to release their highly anticipated two-track project, Kuwe, One Africa, on May 8, 2026. Marking a significant evolution in their “Afro-classical” sound, the release serves as a profound sonic bridge between personal introspection and global solidarity.

Produced in collaboration with the legendary Dumisani ‘Ramadu’ Moyo, Kuwe, One Africa is more than a musical release; it is a meticulously crafted experience. Rooted in the resonant, ancestral tones of the mbira and complemented by warm acoustic guitars and soaring African vocals, the project delves into the duo’s core philosophy of music as a vessel for healing.

The project features two cornerstone tracks, "Kuwe" and "One Africa," which together form a narrative arc of spiritual growth. "We view our creative process as a form of meditation," says Stango. "The biggest challenge was ensuring that the transition from the acoustic intimacy of the mbira to the layered, immersive soundscapes felt natural. We wanted to create music that brings awareness, freedom, and peace—not just as concepts, but as feelings the listener can carry with them."

Working alongside Ramadu at the helm of production, Stango & Nongoma have refined their ability to blend traditional Zimbabwean elements with contemporary Afro-fusion textures.
