The lineup includes Ben Brown on drums, George Jefford on trumpet and horns arrangements, John Martin on saxophone and flute, and Amadou Ndir on bass. The single also highlights the skills of leading Senegalese jazz pianist Ibou Tall and backing vocals by Samantha Jane Streete-Porter, Birame’s wife.

The song's uplifting groove seamlessly sways between Mbalax and Reggae, with a bassline inspired by the Fulani melodic style. It emphasizes the deep bond and shared vision between Sonko and his close friend Diomaye, symbolizing their journey from prison to leadership in Senegal.
